Vichart Somkaew was born in 1980, November 25. Graduated with a degree in Architecture Education from King Mongkut's Institute of Technology Ladkrabang. He start to the art way with the Architectural Competition from The Association of Siamese Architects Under Royal Patronage, and he got the winner prize. In 2004 He interested in short movie and start to make his movie completed in 2005. After that he make a feature documentary with bioscope magazine.

วีดีโอบันทึกแรงบันดาลใจ เคารพความเป็นส่วนตัวในเรื่องเล่า ของ กนกพงศ์ สงสมพันธุ์ เสียงเพรียกจากสวนหลังบ้าน เสมือนด้าน "รอบบ้านทั้ง 4 ทิศ" 

ผมเคยเสียน้ำตา ไม่ใช่สิ เคยได้น้ำตา จากการอ่านเรื่องสั้น กลับบ้าน และ น้อย;แท็กซี่มีเธอ รวมเรื่องสั้นในรอบบ้านทั้งสี่ทิศ กนกพงศ์เล่าถึงชีวิตหลายๆชีวิตรอบๆ(ใน)บ้าน ในช่วงขณะเวลาที่อ่าน มีเสียงเสียงนึงเพรียกถามอยู่ตลอด “บ้านผมอยู่ไหนกันแน่?”
I used to loss;-excectly got my tears,from reading short stories klub bann and Noi;texi me-ter in his book,the stories told about several life around (in) home, they have a asking voice within me, ” where is my truely home?’
